BlueWing Homes partnered with architect Lindsey White to bring this long-awaited dream to life for our clients in one of Knoxville’s cherished historic neighborhoods. Aptly named The Historic Project, the design was carefully crafted to complement the character of the existing home while providing modern function and comfort.

The centerpiece of the project is a new 810-square-foot three-car detached garage—a space where our clients can fully enjoy their garage hobbies and have room for future flexibility. The garage was built with enduring craftsmanship, featuring:

Hardie board siding and trim to match the main home’s exterior.

• Dimensional asphalt composite roofing for durability and visual harmony.

• A dormer detail and tapered columns that echo the character of the original house.

Beyond the garage itself, we expanded the home’s outdoor living potential with a rear deck and stamped concrete patio that extends seamlessly beneath the home, providing a comfortable and stylish place to entertain family and friends. We also poured a brand-new stamped concrete driveway, tying the entire property together with a polished finish.
